This device comes with GPS support and lets you monitor and plot air quality on a map as it moves through a particular route.
The monitor sends location as well as air quality data to the server every 15 seconds when in journey mode enabling us to plot a dense graph of air quality readings.
The device supports Wi-Fi as well as GSM, to connect to the internet and transmit data to the server. GSM can be used with a sim card to enable the monitor to send data to the server on the go. The device also supports Wi-Fi and can be configured with a hotspot if Wi-Fi is used to support the internet when on-the-go.
Airveda monitors are completely manufactured and serviced in India. Sensors are also calibrated locally to suit Indian conditions. Sensor calibration can be updated remotely, or at our factory and sensors can be replaced on-site. Our manufacturing facility has been running for 30 years and is a trusted name in the local industry.
You can set the device in journey mode when on a journey. Data is sent every 15 seconds to the server and can be plotted on a map.

LED Colors
- The colors of the LED can be used to understand the current status of the device. This is helpful during configuration and setup and also to know when data is being transmitted.
- The different possible colors of the LED and their corresponding device status are:
- GREEN: Normal Data Mode
- RED: Set-up mode
- BLUE: Connected to Wi-Fi
- BLINKING BLUE: Data is being transmitted to server
- BLINKING GREEN: CO2 Calibration mode
APP CONFIGURABLE FEATURES
Note: After making changes via the app, the device must be turned off and on once, and connected to the internet to receive updated settings from the server.
- Measurement Frequency
- Default:
- Cloud Storage: Data is measured every 15 seconds for journey mode and 30 seconds in normal mode (measurement frequency) and sent to the server every 1 minute (Sending Frequency).
- Configurable Measurement Frequency:
- Can be changed to 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 20 minutes via mobile app.
- Configurable Sending Frequency:
- Can be changed to 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 20 minutes via mobile app.
- Note:
- Longer sending frequency reduces power usage and battery backup as sending data to the server is very battery-intensive.
- Longer measurement frequency ensures longer local memory as a fixed number of items are stored in the memory. Also, the sensor is turned off between intervals which may help extend sensor life.
